Question for people who watched season 1 of The Pitt: I'm extremely phobic of rats, and I couldn't watch the first season because of that. Was that thing resolved within the first season, or do I still need to be cautious?

I think it was resolved but I can’t remember exactly how, so not 100% confident. There’s none in this episode.
Man, I remembered there was emotional trauma but forgot about all the injuries and such onscreen. Much flinching

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Yeah, I don't think they get that what has most people up in arms isn't just that they were skeptical/unwelcoming of the show before they saw it, but rather the slurs and MAGA dogwhistles they used in being dismissive of its creators and audience. And the fake/performative nature of their sudden 180° when it boosted their viewership immensely and they realized there was cash to be had from piggybacking on queer entertainment.
