Yeah, it hit me at some point in July that she wouldn't be able to see the new season, which was just...there needs to be a stronger word than unfair.
Yup. This is terrible. My weird workaround is that JZ believed in the afterlife. Since she believed it, it is true for her. Since it is true for her, she is able to see all of it.

Okay, I'm going with that.
Maybe she got it already. maybe they get screeners, like critics.
When she's not in the vestibule with Matthew Perry, that is.
Have not started watching Heated Rivalry yet, but I misplaced my kindle last night and decided to start reading Game Changers on my phone (kindle turned up right next to my bed this morning, where I looked for it several times) and now I’m 15% into Heated Rivalry so I will be watching before long…
I had to got to talk about this book/show at work today for the second week in a row!
(Because the book is out of stock everywhere, which is relevant to my job. I did warn people not to Google the show at work.)
I'm torn between being hopeful about a hockey-set m/m romance series hitting multiple interests for me and shuddering at the memory of the relationship dynamics in a lot of slash fanfic I've read. If someone soothes an emotional meltdown by soulfully repeating "I've got you," I'm diving for the remote.

I can guarantee this does not happen at any point in the book. (And so far the TV adaptation has been spot on, so I'm hopeful.)
Sounds promising. Fingers crossed!
Man, you were right, Jess, this is a great adaptation! I'm glad I went right from reading to watching so the text is fresh in my head because it is kind of astounding how faithful it's managing to be
Also impressive how very clear it is exactly what is happening just off-screen or otherwise out of sight. Wow.
