Wash ,'War Stories'
[NAFDA] A thread for the discussion of all original programming on HBO, Showtime, Starz and other premium channels.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Putting my Battle of Winterfell predictions here.
I think Theon and Jorah are dead.
I think maybe Jaime dies also.
I think the corpses in the crypts definitely are reanimated.
I think everyone heads to the Iron Isles.
Holy shit! I did not see that coming.
But no, that I did not see. So like. what now?
FUCK YEAH, ARYA!!
Surprisingly low body count (I mean, among principal characters). I knew Theon and Jorah would bite it. But I am kinda wrecked over Lady Lyanna, wahhhh.
I do have a complaint about whoever the fuck the DP was because I know it's a night battle and all, but fuck it if I could see anything. These eyes aren't getting any younger and I spent a lot of time squinting at things, trying to make out what was going on.
Holy fuck
I mean, who could actually see it?
I had all my lights out and I still couldn't make out what was happening half the time.
I hold that the lighting for this show and the sounds at times too has consistently been AWFUL.
Also, despite all the arguments about dragons, they ended up being kinda useless? I mean, I know the Night King threw up some fog or whatever, but couldn't Jon and Dany have had their dragons spit out some fire in the vague vicinity of the undead army BEFORE they breached the defenses?
That was a physically grueling episode of TV. I have a headache from squinting, my shoulders are still up around my ears, and my heart is still pounding.
