Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Our wings are not tired.

Yes, thanks for the reminder. I had that sitting in an unread tab. There are so many pieces that need to come together. Soon.

Thank *you* Laura! It was your mention of it last week that clued me into the NYT newsletter. :)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

So, I've never watched Got. Is it worth slogging through all the horrible gore to get to the awesome powerful women part that seems to be coming up now? Because honestly, powerful women with Personal Agendas (and dragons) is all I'd be in it for.

Our wings are not tired.

I started watching this season, but I had read the books so I had some background. I think it would still be enjoyable with no historical context.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Zen - I got through all the Seasons last summer. I do think it is worth it, having never read any of the books, but the fighting stuff didn't bother me.

Because books.

There's also plenty of Powerful Women stuff even at the beginning. Not across the board, but that's human.

Thanks. I'll add it to my To Watch list.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I had to drop it after the first few episodes because I have issues with harming companion animals.

Because books.

Yeah, it's very often not for the faint of heart, on a few levels.
