Having now watched the episode, I think she did a good job. Also, Orlando Jones better get a LOT more to do next season, even if I cringe every time one of his avatars skitters across the screen.
And
damn, they're really diverging from the book, aren't they? I like it, but things are very different.
I need to remember to go buy the soundtrack.
Is Laura getting faded colorwise as she continues her undeadness?
(I thought of you, Jilli, particularly at the beginning of this week's episode.)
Random: I am amused that people all over the world are seeing The House on the Rock signs.
Now we need to see Mars' Cheese Castle signs.
(I thought of you, Jilli, particularly at the beginning of this week's episode.)
Yeeaaah. But still, I dealt with those better than I did with the
full-screen rainbow tarantula face from Mr. Nancy's first appearance.
Is Laura getting faded colorwise as she continues her undeadness?
She is! I'm particularly impressed with the FX they're doing for her.
Do you know if it's contacts or CGI on her eyes to make them look clouded over?
I don't know for sure, but I suspect CGI, because the clouding doesn't shift and leave a weird discolored rim on her irises.
Jilli, I had my hand over my face for the whole time until he started telling his story. Just couldn't.
You know what would have been cool? If as Oestra's hair had tumbled down, her body had gotten more voluptuous; like from Kristen Chenoweth tiny to Ashley Graham curves.
I just watched Part 8 of Twin Peaks and I think I now know what Koyaanisqatsi by way of Eraserhead would feel like.
And from Part 6 or 7, Albert cursing Gene Kelly is my new favorite clip.
