I just assumed they were going by stars to determine how long a year is. They navigate by the stars, yeah? ISTR something about constellations from somebody, but it's a vague memory, I could be making it up. But if I am not, next time The Mother (or whatever) shows up in the same spot in the sky at sundown as it did today => a year will have passed. No?

Oh god yes. I want to go to there.
Want: Cercei's battle gown.
Favorite edit: baby to Jon Snow face matchcut. For the four people in the audience who haven't been anticipating that reveal for months now.
Disappointed: Sansa not proclaimed Queen in the North. Jon's not a Stark (for even more reasons than the official ones) AND he did jack shit to win Winterfell back. Literally the only thing he's good at is knowing about white walkers and being friends with Tormund.
Confused: Travel times for Arya and Varys. Unless the Braavosi are masters of teleportation?

No, he is a Stark just not a son of Ned Stark, right?

His mother is a Stark. That makes him still not a Stark.
Having a Snow for a king is kind of delightful, though. And if he does turn out to be legit Targaryen, well, convenient in some ways but probably not a plus in Lady Mormont's books.

I'm willing to accept this explanation. Some weird temple with it's own special syntax, make the right offering and *poof* you're in Westeros. Why not? Spaceless Men.

Huh??
Yeah, I wasn't sure how Varys was supposed to have gotten back from Dorne to make the fleet's launch in Mereen. Weird.
I feel like Arya's whole story has gotten sloppy.
Without actual season, star patterns can easily define an orbit around the sun.
Me: "I have a couple of episodes of this new show, Outcast."
Husband: "What's it about?"
Me: "I don't actually know, just that it involves the Walking Dead guy."
show begins with an incredibly close close-up of a roach
