So on Game of Thrones, Cersei and Qhyburn had a little chat after Tommen's betrayal and I think they were referencing the Wildfyre that's under the Sept of Baelor. So I think Cersei's ready to burn that shit down.
And [book spoiler, speculation]:
It sure looks like with two references to Cat and the return of Beric that they are going to actually bring on Lady Stoneheart.
Also, despite all the fan theories, that was Arya getting stabbinated and inexcusably stupid for roaming around Braavos without a hood and cloak, in broad daylight.
Also, Sansa is down the Tully army but looks like she might get some assistance from the Merry Men of the Forest (Brothers Without Banners). Obvi, her raven was to Littlefinger and the Knights of the Vale.
Loved the Hound having a RAMPAGE and FrankenMountain's head ripping off, even if that's probably why the High Sparrow outflanked them with banning trial by combat.
Also, Tommen is going to die soon. I shan't cry.
OK, just watched the first two episodes of Penny Dreadful on a library DVD. That seance was crazy, and it was so heartbreaking the way Proteus died. But I'm mystified why Josh Hartnett is singled out with the "and" credit at the end when Timothy Dalton and Eva Green are just listed alphabetically amongst the rest of the cast. Don't tell me he's somehow considered a bigger star than they are?
Everything about this show is awesome, except Billie Piper. Every time she opens her mouth all I can hear is Dawn Wells as Eliza Doolittle saying "'E tawht me to wohlk and to tohlk and to dress loike a reg'lar lady! 'E gave me class, 'e did!" coughs up consumption blood in lieu of blowing her nose loudly into a handkerchief...
Matt, Billie Piper's role eventually gets much better.
Such a brutal episode to watch. And all totally worth it for the little smile on Sansa's face at the end.
Excellent episode! I wonder how they'll try to top it for the finale.
Episode 9 has usually been the big one for most seasons.
I usually save the up and watch them two or three at a time. This is the first year that I've watched them every week. So, I really didn't take note of that before.
Oh my, that was pretty darn satisfying.
