I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

And if your second speculation is right (and it makes sense in the context of GoT), wouldn't it be funny if Shereen's greyscale made burning her do something other than kill her?

Is it enough to just touch someone with Greyscale anywhere or do you have to actually touch the infected skin to pick up the infection? I was thinking that maybe it was the latter and therefore Dany would not be infected. Otherwise, why would Jorah even offer her his hand? Surely, he wouldn't want her to get Greyscale, right? I don't know. All I know is I want a dragon and the white gown with that gorgeous dragon necklace that Dany was wearing last night. And then I want to fly it to Westeros and burn Stannis up. Worst parent ever (and that's saying A LOT in Westeros).

I kept hoping. I guess they could still do something with that next week, but it doesn't seem likely.

I don't know, kat, but that would make sense. The Stone Men were all over greyscale, so that data is not helpful.

Loved Dany's necklace, yes.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

So I'm predicting that since Jorah touched Dany and then Dany took Missandei's hand, they both now have greyscale.

They did make a heck of a show of Dany taking Missandei's hand.

I'm kind of shocked that thatwasn't Dany's next week story. I think we may not get any Dany at all next week. Don't know about the Losers Left In Mereen, though.

However, I'm also predicting that a nice, refreshing bath of fire from Drogon can cure Dany.

I don't think Dany is THAT fireproof...

I also think that Shireen is really most sincerely dead. Which means that both Stannis and Dany are more or less dead ends as far as dynasties are concerned. They may have the best claims to the throne, but that just means there's another war in a few years.

Also, not only is Stannis the Worst Parent, he's also even less beloved of his men.

So, next week...Winterfell. Some sort of something with Cersei. Arya...Jon, maybe?

Why couldn't they have more kids?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Stannis's wife has miscarried several times (as the show decided to excitingly illustrate in her decorating choices). He could, I suppose, remarry. Maybe Margaery will be on the market again if he ends up on the throne.

After Rhaego was...born...there was the prophecy that included Dany not giving birth to a live child. That is, I suppose, also not certain, but not a great start.

I can totally see Stannis ditching Selyse for someone younger and more fertile if he ever got his hands on the Iron Throne. At this point, is there anything he wouldn't do? I do remember that Miri Maz Dur said that the dragon babies were it for Dany, right? Ain't gonna be anymore human babies. But maybe if she gets with Jon (and he really is a Targaryen like everyone assumes) he and Dany could revive that old incest-y feeling that Ellaria was reminiscing about last night. That's assuming that Jon even survives that long, which is always dicey in Westeros.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I could see this if Melisandre found some way to get rid of Selyse. I don't think that Stannis would do it on his own.

As for dynasties, hmm. There's really not much of anyone left to inherit the throne, unless Myrcella and Trystane somehow end up there. And Myrcella actually shouldn't be inheriting it, anyway.

I don't think Jon would take the throne, even if it were offered.

I think that greyscale is only contagious from touching the affected part. Otherwise, wouldn't Shireen have infected a bunch of people as a baby? The body part that gets the first sign of it is definitely the part that touched the infected person -- we've seen that twice.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

FUCK, Stannis. You are on the list now.

DROGON FUCK YEAH. DRACARYS.

The focus on handholding was weird. Dany is probably immune to greyscale because of her magic dragonblood, but Melissandre might be in trouble.
