You got fired, and you still hang around here like a big loser. Why can't he?

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

The whole Poussey and Taystee storyline really hit me in the feelz, as did Miss Rosa.

Because books.

You should pretty much skip the credits entirely, Jilli. In the first episode, if you see a woman kneeling in prayer in front of a crucifix, fast forward to the end of the scene. I think it only happens once in that episode.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Big news on who they cast for Doran Martell on Game of Thrones. Does casting news count as a spoiler?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Theo, I think that the rule is that you can mention that a particular actor has been cast in a series, but not the role. So, think that your news would be whitefont.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

True Blood: OK, this is stupid, but it made me sad that lawyer lady said "they sell anti-glamour contacts at the Walgreens" and not "K&B". Oddly enough, I don't think it would have pinged me if she'd said "Walmart".

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

K & B? Don't even know what that is.

ION, I've been taping the Leftovers but hadn't seen any up until tonight. On a whim I watched tonight's episode (I figure if it's compelling, it will be compelling if I have to go back and catch up). It definitely held my interest but boy howdy this may be the least fun show I've seen in a great while. It makes True Detective look like Friends I swear.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Is Walgreens not prevalent in northern Louisiana? It is here in Arkansas and in western Tennessee.

It is, I think. I just miss K&B.

Ann, that's a ferret.

K & B? Don't even know what that is.

K&B was the big local drug store chain in New Orleans. Their shopping bags were dark purple. A shade I still think of as "K&B purple."

Sad to hear that they got swallowed up.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think that K&B closed just before I moved to New Orleans, but a bunch of the other drugstores that took over their locations kept the purple shopping carts.
