Java,
Brody was supposed to die in the first season (I read). I kind of wish they had done that in retrospect.

Man, I was just about ready to bail on Homefront, but if there are only two episodes left I guess I will watch them.
I'm not sure where the Damian Lewis quote comes. He was on Charlie Rose recently, and Men's Journal had a cover story interview with him. Hhe comes off pretty well, maybe a bit aloof. His grandfather was the Mayor of London or something like that, if I'm getting it remotely correct, it's a largely ceremonial position steeped in tradition. he has a stellar education, Eton? kinda of entitled very serious about his work, he probably did make a condescending comment. It sounds like the Sir was baited by a reporter though.
Masters of sex is my new favorite show. all the actors are so good, especially Lizzy Caplan and Michael Sheen.the storyline with the Provost's wife, played by Allison Janney, is just heartbreaking.it is a brilliant way for the writers to demonstrate the value more information about sex being known to the general public.
you know who is amazing in a long interview parentheses Charlie Rose end parentheses is Claire Danes. I caught part of it by accident then couldn't find anything on the internet, Google able, to watch Charlie Rose.. So tip to the wise it turns out that the online Bloomberg report has links to all the Charlie Rose episodes in full.

Java, I'm with you. When I read the Lewis 'quote' it felt like one of those boiled up magnets that entertainment reporters love so much.
Your assessment of aloofness was my experience of him in interviews too, but never rude enough to make a personal attack. In fact, I want to think he's smarter than that. If he were that type, wouldn't something like this have come out during his heyday on Life?

Thank you, Somebody! I love you, too.
Well, Damian Lewis has kind of apologized for his comments:
As half-assed as the apology is (Oh, when I said 70 year-old fruity actors playing wizards, I didn't mean you, Sir Ian), he's not denying it or even claiming the quote was taken out of context.
