Going the way of Snape?
As in, the book character is a genuinely unpleasant person who is just smart/unpopular enough to have a geek cult following, but then gets completely woobified onscreen.
Oh, I don't know - we are where we are and we'll seen when we get further.
I don't think Tyrion was ever presented the same way Snape was from the start, though.
The Tyrion from his POV chapters in this book would have been having a very different conversation with Bronn re: the fuckability of Sansa Stark.
Ah. I never got that far.
Maergery's patience with Sansa was delightful, mostly because she also looked completely amused.
Daenerys remains badass. Oh, and so does Tywin! The scene was Joffrey was so satisfying.

"Yes dear, my mother taught me" was fantastic.
Tywin climbing the steps to the Iron Throne was one of my favorite moments in the ep.
And I love how big the dragons are getting.

And Joffrey almost visibly cringing. And "We could arrange to have you carried"!!!
Yeah, that was great. But Joffrey was right to be concerned about the dragons. Is Tywin just wrong not to be concerned, or is he keeping dragon intelligence from Joffrey?
