It's just impossible for someone who only got halfway through the second book to know, you know?
Thank you!

Speaking of this whole marrying Loras plot, I do have to say that this change bums me out a little. In the books, Loras is all, "Once the sun has set, no candle can replace it," about Renly's death, and joins the Kingsguard, happy to be celibate for the rest of his life (although, he's young).
Er...that could still happen, in which case it falls into the "whitefont possible book spoilers" category.
Yeah, I mostly leave minor details unwhitefonted for non-book readers who might be interested. I forget that others might also be reading the books too, which is silly of me. So it's an admittedly fine line to tread, and I'l be much more careful about that.

I went back and whitefonted a bunch. My comment started as being about book characters who are clearly NOT appearing in the show, and drifted substantially as it went on.
I think he suggests
Ah yes, it's coming back to me now. Given what her options could have been, Loras is a pretty good deal and she should stop complaining. He's pretty to look at and won't pressure her for sex! And I think we can all agree Highgarden is nicer than King's Landing.
Two places I would really love to see are Highgarden and Casterly Rock.
I also wish they would have actually shown us Storm's End.
Also, every scene Diana Rigg has been in has been one of the greatest scenes ever filmed. She is Off. The. HOOK!
"Grow strong!"

That's pretty much the way it's been her ENTIRE CAREER.
I'm not a consistent GoT watcher, but I pay attention to the comments here and will wander into an episode based on what you all say.
I was fascinated to see Diana Rigg...being a lifelong Avengers fan...and loved her role in this last episode. And, as mentioned above, her "Grow Strong" speech was priceless.
I have to say though, all I could think about her costume was that she must have been a Bene Gesserit in another life. It threw me right out of the story!
