I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's... depressing.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

The showrunners have said that they might be mixing up timelines of events, so just because we're past it in the books doesn't mean it won't turn up later.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's so hard to talk about this show without spoilage - saying something like "Oh, huh, in the books that plotpoint happened this other way" seems innocuous enough, until the thing you thought they skipped turns up three eps later and happening to a different character.

What Jessica said.

Most spoilery stuff refers to things that happen in the books.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ahhhh, that was great! So much what I wanted. And the Rains of Castamere over the credits was fantastic.

Man, there's a lot to cover next week.

Oh, shit, it's Sunday. Totally not a good sign that I managed to swallow a whole day and didn't notice...

Well, the truly sad truth is that I clock weeks ticking over by the ER visit, and I had a panic that I had somehow missed it this week (when the headache doesn't move, it gets hard to tell) and needed to go into the office tomorrow.
