Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

Poor Hot Pie. It must be a terrible burden going through life that thoroughly ignorant. Love the actor, though. He's bringing enough honesty to the role to make the character more sympathetic (not that he's unlikable in the books, just not as affable, I guess)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It gets very confusing with GoT to know what's safe and what's not. People might be spoilerfonting TV spoilers, or book spoilers, and then who knows if the show will follow the book in those respects anyway?

Conversation makes me dizzy.

It's a bit of a trick trying to talk about the show. The desire to not spoil people is there, but the desire to talk about the show and how out relates to the books is also strong, so those of us who've read them occasionally find ourselves making conversational contortions, our just refraining altogether.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Maisie Williams really is bringing it home.

Ha to Bronn's "No capes!" speech. He is a delight.

And whatsername moving from WInterfell to King's Landing actually paid off. Um, narratively, that is. Perhaps not for her,

I guess no weasel soup. I can see why, but still a bit of a bummer. It's "A girl will obey" that gets to me, though it did when I read it, too.

Next episode looks to be packed to the brim with awesome.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Also, did they skip Arya getting the coin? Maybe they get recaptured and THEN weasel soup?

Um, narratively, that is. Perhaps not for her,

Heh, yeah.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, yes. Poor Ros.

On the other hand, things in Winterfell aren't exactly moving swimmingly.

I agree about Maisie Williams.

Is it safe to assume everything whitefonted is book and nobody's putting show-specific spoilers here?

Oh, you're right, we haven't seen the coin! She has said she will unsay Jaqen's name, but she hasn't done it yet, right?

The dead guards being held up by their spears? Creepy cool.
