I liked this episode more than any of them in the series so far. I didn't think it was lacklustre at all. I liked Angelo and his story with Jack, and I was finally interested in something Gwen wanted to do.
I agree, -t. This is the most Torchwoody of them so far, by far.
Not that I mind tasteful sex scenes, but the STARZ mandate seems to be that there has to be a certain number of minutes of skin friction in every episode aired on their network...Spartacus, for instance...regardless of its service to the story or actual sensuality.
It's becoming less stimulating and more uncomfortable to me. Sort of like gazing into my neighbor's windows.
Haven't there only been sex scenes in less than half the TW episodes so far? Which, the explicitness of the scenes might be more than we're used to, but the frequency less.
Oops. Sorry. Misread two characters. Not a great hit rate.
There's been sex in only two of the eps by my count, and Espenson wrote both of 'em.
Mr. Kirk Picard!BWAH! Not as good as Dr. Wrath O' Khan, though.
I think you meant that for cable drama, Vortex.
Yes, I did, and that explains why there are no other comments to that effect.
It was hysterical, though. I should have said that in my last post.
