Zoe: Captain will come up with a plan. Kaylee: That's good. Right? Zoe: Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Torchwood:

Which particular not rightness?

I am not happy about Vera.

That is what I'm not happy about.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

yes. that is what I was referring to. talk about the absolute worst way to "die" possible.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Canceling my season pass for Torchwood on my DVR. I've given this series more than enough chances.

Compassionately intolerant

I'm pretty much right behind you Tom.

There is just nothing compelling in the story. As much as I love Jack and Gwen, it seems all the fun _and_ profundity has been wrung out of the show.

I was holding out to see who/what would have engineered such a horrible assault on humanity, but I don't care anymore.

Comments where will be enough for me.

Scola,

What was the straw that broke the camel's back?

I haven't seen the ep yet. Oh no.

It was what bonny said. It wasn't so much what happened in the episode, but what didn't happen.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I've never been a huge fan of Gwen (love her kicking ass, but the personal stuff annoys me), but I hated that she was a huge hypocrite. If the doctor had signed the order to recategorize her dad, she would have walked away. Instead, because the doctor stood her ground, Gwen went on about the horror and the shame of it. but she would have been willing to let it go if it saved her dad.

I can't get over how she was only concerned about Her Dad. The rest of the category ones could burn, but not Her Dad. So not seeing how this is heroic.

And the show's been so black and white - not dealing with what in the world are the going to do with the category ones. We can't feed all the people in the world as it is; how are we also going to feed the dead?

I love the show for raising the questions in the first place, but they woosed (sp?) out since then.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

On the True Blood front, I'm glad Jessica didn't die, but not pleased with everything in that storyline since (though it beats the shit out of the panther crap). Fiona Shaw continues to rock. She looks like she is having more fun with this role than anything I've seen her in before (which has generally been on the repressed side). And bonus points for the Siouxsie on the credits tonight.
