You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Here's a good legal analysis of the issues in Torchwood - Law & the Multiverse

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I just hold to the hope that being the producers are mostly British, that's just the way they think the law works in America.

Jack's had lots of time (being buried in a grave etc) to get over the whole "if only I could die" philosophy. He probably bounces around it every couple decades or so, then he meets a "Gwen" or a "Doctor" and gets a new infusion of the joy of life.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Torchwood: Gwen has been awesome this episode! I really wish there was more Gwen and Jack and less everyone else.

Rewatching the first episode of Torchwood: Miracle Day and I forgot to mention Ethan Rayne the first time!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Who was Ethan on TW?

Who was Ethan on TW?

He was one of the newscasters. He was only on the screen for a few seconds.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

TB: In the first ten minutes we get drunk Eric (hilarious), Jason having a rather moving epiphany, and "Remeber Salem...it was just a bunch of Puritanettes who needed a good lay."

Even if the rest of the episode sucks, I'm happy.

Also, despite my unhappiness with their storyline so far this year, I loved watching Hoyt and Jessica save Jason, and Jessica not even giving a second thought as to how she was going to save him.

Really bad stuff for Pam though. She's not going to deal with that well.

Art Crawl!!!

No, she is not. Drunken Eric was excellent. Eric in the swimming hole: excellent. Eric sad that he can't be in the sun again: excellent. I think I'm watching for Eric.

Jason's story was good this week. I was so glad that it was Hoyt and Jessica who happened upon Jason.

I'm guessing that the reason they've messed with the Bill storyline is because in the books - Bill isn't there at this time. (I think this is when he's in South America. )

Ann, that's a ferret.

TW: Better. Closer to the Torchwood spirit.

I'm 1/8 Welsh. So there are no prizes for guessing my favorite moment of the ep. Even if my ancestors were from Anglesey and nowhere near Cardiff.

I want Rhys to return, but I fear he won't. Torchwood without Rhys is like Buffy without Xander -- missing a tether to the ordinary world.
