We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I watched the first season of six feet under a couple of years ago, and while I enjoyed it entertainment-wise, it was definitely a show that I was doing other things while I was watching. I liked--and I say this about the show, definitely not in RL--watching the people die at the beginning; it was a clever way to approach the fact that they were going to be dealing with a dead body every episode without making it trite, like every cop show ever.

Also, Gus is totally right WRT the series ending. I watched the last, like, ten minutes on YouTube, and by the end I had shed a couple tears, despite the pixelation. Excellent.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I just figured that he had to choose from available top brass or risk pissing off the department. That said, sweeeeeeeeet if it happens, but a bit wish-fulfillment-y for the show.

seriously! Although, if it happens, I'll be pissed that the Wire isn't real life like I sometimes think it is.

oh, yeah it is but we have not had a police commissioner as together as Daniels. I don't think.

And no police officers as pretty as McNulty or Carver. They are mostly more like the ones assigned to drive the mayor-elect (presumed) around in the ep last night. And, too funny, I saw a full on Wiggums clone on foot patrol in the neighborhood on Sat.

However, our real-life mayor is actually more handsome and more rock and roll than Carcetti, his fictional counterpart. so there you go!

I suppose not. I was happy to see Lester back doing two of his things: the furniture and the Yoda thing.

Anyone else watching Dexter? God, that was a good episode. At the end, where he's sitting between the couple smuggling and killing the cuban immigrants, and he stops and asks them how their marriage works--I had to pause the show, I was laughing so hard. Brilliant.
