Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I do love Catelynn with her "we will get your sisters back and THEN we will kill them all" comforting. When he says he wants to kill them all, he's just lashing out in grief, but she makes it real. Another great scene.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I should add that's the first time I've seen a dragon used as a fig leaf.

Because books.

"we will get your sisters back and THEN we will kill them all"

Best. Ever. I like Cat more and more, although I can't quote forgive her treatment of Jon Snow.

I feel bad for Jon for how Cat treated him, but I can't really blame her for it. He's a living symbol of her husband's infidelity and she's supposed to welcome him into her family? That'd be hard for anyone, and being given no choice in the matter wouldn't help.

Because books.

I get it but Jon has been such a good sibling to her children ... Plus, I love Jon. ::sheepish::

I can't remember the story behind it, because I skipped forward in the book to catch up with where we were in the show at the time, so I'm not really clear on the details. It does seem unlike Ned, though.

Heh, it remains unclear as far as the books have been published. Jon IS pretty great, and Cat SHOULD have recognized that, especially since Robb and Arya both love him so much, but it's an understandable failing of hers based on what she knows.

BTW, I've made the official Making of the Game of Thrones Lemon Cakes a couple of times, and while I am still tinkering with the cooking times in hopes of getting them to actually unmold from the ramekins like they are supposed to, they are very tasty.

Art Crawl!!!

Are those the ones that Tom Colicchio came up with?

Yeah, I think so. The food truck ones, I believe.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I'm mid way through S3 of True Blood. Why does Eric ooze blood from his ears and nose whenever he's around Sookie's cousin? Did i miss an explanation while folding laundry?

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I don't remember that, erin, but when vampires in the TB showverse don't go to bed when the sun rises, they get the "bleeds".
