This Jaime shows the bitter deadness inside so well. It bodes well for future character development if they follow the books, I've got to say.
One telling detail from later on that I don't think is spoilery -- it turns out he never names his horses and tries not to learn them if they come already named. Because they die so quickly and horribly in battle.
I totally think that Cersei was lying to Catelyn to fool her (Catelyn) into thinking she had normal human emotions.
erika, just saw this on Publisher's Marketplace and thought you might find it interesting:
Fiction:
General/Other
Creators of the viral internet article in the same vein, Joy DeLyria and Sean Robinson's DOWN IN THE HOLE: THE UNWIRED WORLD OF H.B. OGDEN, a false history of the critically lauded HBO television series The Wire reimagined as a Victorian serial novel, containing excerpts and illustrations, to Craig Cohen at powerHouseBooks, by Alia Hanna Habib at McCormick & Williams Literary Agency (NA).
Hey Barb, sorry I didn't drop back in last night. Matt's a FB friend. I saw his article right after I posted my own and felt pretty good that we were mostly on the same page. Erika, I hear you on Seda. So far, that character is more crudely drawn than I like. Hopefully they'll get around to fixing him before he becomes another fucking Sonny.
Actually, I think he reminds me of the faking reporter in The Wire season five...we know he's up to No Good but we don't really understand why.And he's a weak link on a Dream Team, that's not as harsh as it sounds.
Anthony Bourdain talks Treme(and lots of other shit, too, as is his wont)

Dang, when will that dude stop being a shrinking violet(which he'd love cause I almost typed "Shrinking Violent"(Roller derby name, or women's punk band?) and express an opinion already?
(/sarcasm font)
FTR, I thought both the Haitian and Boston episodes were all that and a bag of(what would Bourdain like a bag of? Entrails?) but we may have the same mental disorder, so there's that.
If you have HBO Go you can watch episode 7 right after episode 6 airs:
The executive [HBO co-president Eric Kessler] on Tuesday also said that HBO Go will exclusively make available the following week’s episode of new HBO hit Game of Thrones right after the May 22 episode, which ends with a cliffhanger that Kessler said will entice fans to immediately see what happens next. The move is part of a plan to offer exclusive content windows on HBO Go to “encourage registration” of users for the service, he said.
I just signed up for it! It'll be interesting to see how it works that night.
ETA: This is pretty nifty. I think they have every episode of every show they've ever done available here.

That's what the ads say. I'm excited about seeing that episode early!
