no wonder there was that rant in this week's Treme.

Two sneaks for Game of Thrones - one of them is new.
Rants are not uncommon in Simon shows...this one turned out to be one of the most justified.
I guess I should mention that MANY YEARS AGO, I dated Alan Richman for a brief time. He was a foodie even then. I remember we drove from Boston to Marblehead to a famous restaurant for my 23nd birthday dinner and he broke up with me before we even ordered. Then I had to eat the dinner and then endure the hour-long drive back to town. Feh. So what I am saying is, I guess he's always been a dick.
Okay, see, now Richman's seriously on The List.
OMG, that's a*serious* douchebag. Hearing that about a random man, I would probably cite his youth. But now we know he did not get better with age either, and, at the very least, his timing still sucks. Yikes! He will not be admitted to the cafe on Buffista Island, much less comped. He should be afraid, too. Treme is not done with him yet.
Peter Dinklage very probably falls down on his knees to thank God that he's gotten such a very excellent role that shows off his acting abilities to such advantage.
He was definitely the first choice for most of the readers of the books.
In the scene where Snow defends Sam--in the book the other two blacks he'd been working with come to his defense, and I teared up reading it, in public. I was really looking forward to seeing that onscreen. Hmmph.
Yeah, it's too bad. They also changed the way in which Sansa learned how the Hound was burned.
I believe that the scene between Tyrion and Theon wasn't in the book, nor was the scene with Viserys and Dany's maidservant.
