Book stuff: Andre noticed that Sookie had fairy blood - either in the book with the King of Arkansas wedding/massacre or in the one with the Pyramid Hotel explosion. We didn't find out how she was related to the Fae until later. I'm pretty sure that Claudine showed up eitherh around or before the time that Eric was bespelled. And Russell certainly didn't have that power but he did like to collect unusual objects and beings.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I really need to re-read the books. i read them all quickly and in succession so it's hard to remember what happened and when.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Yeah, it was all in the last few books. I like that they are borrowing from the books, but it's taking its own direction in the series. I don't think I would enjoy the series as much as I do if it were more faithful.

I think it's darker and more bloody, and honestly, I like being surprised and seeing how someone is interpreting it through a different lens.

And I am for sure glad Lafayette isn't dead.

Compassionately intolerant

I completely agree. The books are fine, but the series is way more enjoyable, to my tastes. Apparently, Charlaine is with us...viewing the two as completely different forms of entertainment. Thank goodness she didn't try to hold on harder.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think I like Jason in a button-up shirt better than shirtless Jason. Or maybe that's just because we've seen him nekkid so much, but he was looking good in the business casual.

Loving the Jesus and Lafayette show. Not loving the Franklin and Tara show. Show better not stomp all over Terry's happiness.

Go, Tara! Though I expect that won't be enough to put down Franklin for good.

No, she bashed him around but she neither beheaded nor staked him so he's going to be back.

(I'm sure he'll be staked by the end of the season - if Tara doesn't get to do it, I would guess that the insanity will start making him a liability for Edgerton.)

The whole figuring out how to escape and bashing the head in and freeing Sookie business was great, but my favorite was Tara telling Sookie she was stupid for her "not leaving without Bill" stance. Yeah, Tara, she is.

Yes, she is. I loved that she "thought" at Sookie.

I wonder if Alcide has a "protect Sookie" order from Eric - a general one; if Eric managed to contact him or if there is something else going on here.
