I've been out of the abbey two days, I've beaten a lawman senseless, I've fallen in with criminals. I watched the captain shoot the man I swore to protect. And I'm not even sure if I think he was wrong.

sumi, cleolinda's recap is made of hilarity and fun. That's where I "read" it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My DVR recording cut off at the end of that very disturbing scene. Anything else after that?

I totally called Franklin Mott taking care of Jessica's little corpse problem .

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

ahahaha!! so true. i'm pretty sure they're going to gloss over that one in the movie though. can't scar the teenyboppers.

I hope they show it in all its gory detail, complete with CSI-style internal zooms. There will never be a better opportunity to scare millions of teenagers out of any chance of getting pregnant!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I think True Blood just scarred me for life with that final scene.

That took the Darla/Angel hate-sex to a whole new level of wrongness and horror.

New wolfie in town, Alcide? HAWT.

I don't see Sookie as a victim. Sookie is a smart, calculating, brave-despite-the-fear, player. She doesn't get into situations where she needs to be rescued because she's stupid. She goes in knowing all the angles, knowing her own cliche, and works it. I mean, shit, she took the situation into her own hands at the were bar, walked right into that back room, barely blanched an eye while knowingly playing her part, and then deliberately screamed. She may be stupid, but that is something I see blurring the edges with bravery. She knows her trope and she works it. And she is so much more awesome without Bill.

Also, Eric besotted is a thing of beauty. And hotness.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

So is every episode this season going to end with Bill doing very bad things? The sex with the neck snapping and the blood gushing and the still talking up your love was ewww and OMGWTF and wrong. I'm seeing a whole new side to Mr. Compton.

This episode felt kind of place hold-y and I'm just about done with Jason seeing bullet holes in everybody's skull. I hope that doesn't turn into this season's black eyed orgy because alright, we get it.

Whose turn was it to break my heart this week? Bud Dearborn, come on down. Poor noodle. It's just too much for him all the creepy death and more creepy death followed by zombie sex which he can't actually remember and more creepy death. The world is changing much too fast for poor old Bud Dearborn. And the reaction from Andy and Kendra was priceless and perfect. I really do love that whole group and I cannot wait for Jason to become Junior Deputy Dawg, because that's not a horrible idea at all.

Lafayette should know better than to take candy from strangers, but really what could he do? He's gonna pay a whole lot more than a dollar for that car, I'll tell you what. I want his golden kimono. Bonus points if it comes with Eric sitting outside my front door looking hot in a hot ass car.

New werewolf dude? Hot. Hot hot. And his test of Sookie's mind reading abilities? Very cute. Creepy vampire detective? Still hot. Creepy and manipulative and very possibly evil but still hot. Hot hot. I approve of both additions to the family.

I enjoy Bill in Mississippi so very, very much (except for all the neck breaking sex). I hope he never goes back to LA. I also enjoy the vampire king and his boyfriend. In fact, can we just stay with this royal family and ditch Sophie Anne who has never brought that much to the table in my opinion save a fair to middling actress who is apparently much better in other stuff but kind of not good at all here? I'd appreciate that.

I'm still not so interested in Sam's family reunion. They seem so clearly to be users and grifters that I just kind of want to smack Sam and shout "Do not let these people into your life? Did you not think twice upon walking in on your brother, who'd just tried to kill you, in the living room watching TV in the dark with your dad in his filthy underwear with his hand on your brother's knee sporting an enormous erection?" Run the other way, quickly. As for Arlene, lying about a pregnancy is so something she would do, but poor Terry. He may be crazy but I assume he can count.

Hmmmm. Watching the show, I kind of felt like not much was happening, but it seems that some things kind of did.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Alcide is much hotter in the show than he was in my head.

I love that Terry's so excited to be a daddy, and feel bad for Arlene. I don't think she should have lied, but it sure would be hard for her to have serial-killer bebe.

Bill didn't rape whatherface, Lucinda? That was some fucked-up shit, but it was totally consensual.

Jessica is so very pretty.

Now tagless for your comfort.

So Tara gets to spend another season in thrall to a supe? I really wish they could give her more to do than that.

Clearly, Lorena was into the neck snapping sex which made it even WTF-ier. Gross. But I kinda expect that from her. From Bill? NSM. Bad Bill. Ripping legs and ears off? Lighting women on fire? Neck snapping sex? Wanna do bad things with you, for sure.

I wish Tara would get something other than unrelenting shit, too. Maybe they should send her to the Light of Day Jesus Camp. It did wonders in the Jason reclamation project.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I thought Arlene's baby was Terry's - didn't they have sex and not remember it while under Maryanne's spell? I took it that she thought it wasn't possible because she thought they hadn't had sex that far back.

Agreed that Sam's family is bad bad news. But I laughed out loud at some of their dialog. Reminded me of Raising Arizona.
