I don't know, I thought the songs in the most recent episodes have been hilarious. It got off to a shakey start, I thought, but from Michael Gondry's episode onwards I've been enjoying it as much as last season.

Rome: The Movie!!!! [link]
I like the songs just fine, but I have to admit I kind of suffer through the show otherwise. I kind of liked "Told You I Was Freaky". And I LOVED "Sugar Lumps". In fact I found myself humming it in school the next day. I think it was the "two complimentary after-dinner mints" that pushed it over the top into my favorites.
Actually I poked the thread because I've gotten sucked into Big Love and wanted to get some affirmation: Nikki! FINALLY!
I still love their characters, I just wish that they didn't feel like they had to have a couple of songs each episode, because I think that has made the show very uneven this season.

I know! Or do I? There's so much craziness going on I'm not sure if we are exclaiming over the same thing.
Also, I didn't even now the Rome movie was a rumor. That's very exciting news!
Well, I'm exclaiming over them finally getting off their asses and doing something about her. Also, I totally agree with Barb -- she is a psychopath!
Not spoilery, unless you're behind in the season.

Murray has become (more?) watch-from-the-hall, but I still find it funny watch-from-the-hall.
I've seen random bits of Big Love, but it fell into my "not enough time; not enough space on my DVR" category.
Oh, the sad thing I heard in the Ian McShane interview on the The Daily Show last night was that Deadwood was, well, completely dead.
Not that I'm surprised at this point.
I caught some of Big Love by accident, and then just sort of couldn't stop watching. I'll give them this, they don't pull their punches out of concern for the characters.
OK, that's the same thing then. I don't fully believe that it will happen. Some wacky thing will intervene.
And the one thing that pushed Bill over the edge was her flirtation with the attorney! If he hadn't sent her flowers, Bill would still be trying to keep the peace.
Alby's "We were born to parents with murder in their hearts, we never had a chance" [probably paraphrased] wasn't wrong.
