I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Stephen Root is making me like Jason just a little bit. Pretty amazing.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The two questions I have about the writing on the last two episodes of Trueblood:

1. If Erik asked Sookie to read potential suspects in the theft, then why wouldn't he or Pam lift a finger to stop Longshadow from ripping her throat out? If they were suspicious and wanted to catch the thief, shouldn't they have moved against him when he went after her? Sookie's talent is an asset they should want to protect. Or is that supposed to illustrate their complete indifference to humans?

2. Hippy Dippy Amy is all peace and love as long as she has the V. Great. Fine. But she justifies her treatment of Eddie by saying he's not a person. She says everything's connected and listens to TREES but she won't acknowledge Eddie's right to live. Hugely hypocritcal, which, I'm guessing is just the junkie code. It obviously bothers Jason but is he too dim to realize the difference?

Poor Eddie.

t /Rocky Horror

I'll miss Stephen Root.

So much for the hippy dippy lovefest. I hope Jason finally sees her for what she is.

And I'm with you Cash. Makes no sense to not protect Sookie's asset. Last night, they made a point of recognizing 'business' value over human life but still. What's with all the cloak and dagger about Sookie's gift...except that I suppose both Eric and Bill realize the Grand Poobah would probably just chain her up in a closet somewhere for easy access. And, as Cash said, if they were trying to indicate Eric's total lack of concern for human life, why wouldn't he just offer her up to the big dude as tribute? Certainly not out of loyalty to Bill.

Poor tortured Bill.

And Sookie? Can we have a word? Hon. Judging Sam as some kind of unclean is so v.v. uncool. And I don't mean v in a good way. He may be a conflicted lunkhead, but I'm pretty sure he has always supported your 'differentness.' That hypocrisy is unbecoming. Majorly.

And Poor Sam! Abandoned by both sets of 'rents. Anh.

This really is shaping up (no pun intended) as a Greek tragedy with ALL the men folk suffering mightily.

Loved. Loved. Loved. Lafayette.

Not terribly sensical what with coming from someone who's all broken up that her boyfriend the reanimated cadaver has been called away.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

yeah, I blame the writers. None of this seems in keeping with Sookie's character. Period.

Now, I will say that I can see her being slightly off-put by Sam not telling her/not trusting her all these years. That would be the thing that would hurt me the most. Also, her world has been turned upside down with something/someone killing her grandma, cat, and other women in town. And now Bill might be gone forever.

Her first thought was that Sam was getting ready to kill her, so she must have been terrified.

I can see her being aloof, but not mean.

She was mean.
