Cleolinda's recaps! Pure, purest gold.
I loved her Van Helsing and LOTR parodies so much, I've used them as theatre during birthday parties.
Love, love, love.
Plus, she caught things I couldn't have. Informative!
One tape into the Stackhouse novels and now I feel like a know stuff. Not a lot of stuff, but two of my burning questions have been answered. Phew. Relief.
I think I loved the little moments in this episode more than anything main character related. The Bellefleur fishing trip was made of awesome. Pam! I want more Pam. She could have her own spin off, The Pam Show, and just stand around giving fools the stink eye for an hour and I would totally watch. I loved the bank clerk and I love Tara's mom about 10,000 times more than I love Tara. (Although I am still liking the Tara/Sam dynamic) Not enough Lafayatte, but then again, there can never be enough. Sookie and Bill mostly annoyed but mainly because, as others have said, it felt like we got a lot of filler tonight with them.
And Jason. Sigh. I was so praying that neo-hippie girl was actually a vampire herself and would kill him once she got him back to the house. Even after they got naked (And seriously, is it in homeboys contract that he must be bare assed at least once every episode?) and was way too pink to be dead, I kept hoping that maybe she had on make up. But no such luck. They live to bore another day.
I keep forgetting that I'm in perfectly good company here and should feel unashamed. These are, after all smoldering, sexy, supernatural creatures that are supposed to appeal to our darker desires. And the do.
I will freely admit the fluttering and giddiness the show inspires in me.
It seemed obvious that Bill was just trying to get the vamps out of there, but he was giving Sookie so many meaningful it's-okay glances that I thought Malcolm would be all "Oh, come on."
I refuse to analyze my enjoyment of vampire sensuality...

This. We were sitting there going "Come on, pleeeeese" but it never happened.
I loved it when Sam was running naked across the verdant land and did Terry say something like "I've done that"?

On rewatch, I counted 4 significant, head nods of you know why I am doing this in Sookie's direction.
Would have been hard for her to miss.

I was dying! Terry has totally become one of my favorite background characters. Between the whole Iraqu flashback in sighting Sam running through the woods and his earlier bonding moment with Bill after Bill's speech to the DotG . . . I mean, I just love me some Terry.
I also like Terry!
Who do I have to kill to get a bath tub like Bill's?
Yes, I was admiring that bathtub...
Come, join me in the Victorian stereotype corner! We have a lovely fainting couch, a selection of teas, and laudanum!
Superb!
