who here watches Entourage? i fucking love Ari.
raises hand
Just started watching this season (might not have if LUCKY LOUIS - ptoooi - had been on right after DEADWOOD instead). Does anyone know what the deal is with Debi Mazar? She's in the main credits, but I think I saw her twice this season, for a total of two minutes. Was she prominent in prior seasons?
Then they turned into every client from hell that I ever had to work with.
Oof, I can see that. Luckily, I don't have to deal with clients of any kind as part of my work, so I can enjoy the "from hell" part without it inducing flashbacks. Still don't know if I'm supposed to think Vince is the vacuous twit he seems to be, or if they are trying for "free spirit" and failing badly, but I do enjoy Drama and E.
I just saw that news about The Wire. GODDAMN RIGHT HELL YEAH GO HBO.
Whew, I'm relieved.

she was pregnant. so she probably took time off to have the baby and such. she's not prominent per se, but she pops up every now and again.
heh! My band just got mentioned on Ed Norris' radio show (he is disgraced former police commisioner who appears on the Wire now as Bunk's fellow homicide detective)! He had the Charm City Rollergirls on and we're playing their championship bout on Sunday. It's just a total Smalltimore moment.
Or, possibly, the detective character is named Ed Norris after the disgraced former police commissioner but the real Ed Norris has appeared on the show. It's all so convoluted.
Woo Hoo!
It's time to party like we're gonna have to burn the evidence later. Or something like that.
Bet the brass are somewhat less than amused.
That's so awesome, Lisah, that I hardly have words.
Yeah, very cool.
In a different way than your knowing Ziggy Sobatka's stunt penis, but cool nonetheless.
(Uh, you know, in the less than Biblical sense.)

I KNOW! Evidently he's a little obsessed with the rollergirls.
So, I'm watching Deadwood S1 Ep4 this morning (we're on a break as S talks to her brother on the phone), and I can't help but feel that this is the episode where Wild Bill dies. He's the first character we see in the episode, and there are many lines referring to his death in one way or another. Hickok's own "Will you please let me go to Hell the way I want to?" to Charlie Utter, just before Charlie leaves for Cheyenne. Plus the line "He too is God's handiwork," about the droopy-eyed cunt mouth hoople-head, just after he bragged about having a gun and then refused to sell it to his more level-headed friend poker partner.
