"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Always Anti-fascist!

Maybe I'm not as white as they think. I don't care about being spoiled. But I do appreciate the tribute in y'alls whitefont. If he thinks that is a curse, he should trying being asked about shit like Terri Schiavo by total strangers. Dag. But I suppose nobody'd read a blog called stuff ABs like.

Still loving The High Hat shout-out.Of course, any cool I get from it is just by association, but...and "fan service" sounds like he bent you over a radio car.(Thanks, Corwood, for the episodes. Now I want pepper steak.)

My pleasure!

But now you have to read my thoughts. I think this season would be better if Templeton were not such a one-note asswipe. I usually can count on Simon to find humanity in unexpected places, but watching Templeton, I expect him to grow a mustache so he can twirl it. ETA: OMG. "She didn't know what "et al" meant so she filed them all under the same number." Argh.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Caught the two episodes of John Adams, and I must say the history geek in me totally loved it. Paul Giamatti was superb in a role I never in a million years would have picked him for back when I first saw him in movies. Laura Linney was great as Abagail. Tom Wilkinson was a good choice for Franklin. The other surprise was David Morse as George Washington, another role I never would have picked the actor for that worked really well. There was some make up involved, but it was still a bit uncanny watching him.

Punishingly Intricate

The actor who plays Rutledge is so familiar yet, according to IMDB, this is the only thing he's been in!

I'm glad they left in Caesar Rodney's important part. Delaware Represent!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm starting to watch Deadwood tonight, but can I talk about it in here without getting spoiled for The Wire, which I plan to watch next?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think people have finished talking about The wire, so just start talking about DW now.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

In fact, start talking Deadwood and all kinds of crazy cocksuckers'll come out of the woodwork.
