I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

Just a couple of meta motherfuckers, there.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, that's fantastic.

Always Anti-fascist!

I keep- meaning to post about this...I saw the "L word" where Jenny and Dana(?) the tennis pro, try to have sex, and it's all awkward and stuff and they decide to...not, in the end. I really liked that part, not because I don't want to see them together, but because it felt so real. Usually on TV, the most innocent virgin still manages to have pretty perfect sex, or the whole point would be that one of them is not sexy or something.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

V. true, Erika. Also, I have had a lot of terrific sex in my life, but I don't recall my clothes magically melting off and beautiful sodft-focus lighting of all of the incredibly graceful and assured moves.

Always Anti-fascist!

It's no wonder that teens don't know about sex from what they learn on TV.

move out and draw fire

Just watched "Requiem for a Gleet" (S2, ep4, Deadwood). My lord, that may have been some of the most grueling TV I've ever seen. Any other show, if they needed a character out of the way for a couple episodes so that problems could develop, would have that character travel out of town or something.

Not Deadwood.

I hear you, but that closing tableaux made it all worthwhile.
