I thought he was a good actor before watching Dexter, but I didn't know he was that good.
I know. He sinks into Dexter so thoroughly, if I knew him in real life I'd worry just a little.

The others seem well cast, though the only one who really pings me is the guy playing Angel (heh), but mainly because I know I've seen the actor in other things...oh wait, I think it was Oz. That makes it even better.
Yep, he was Morales on Oz. I loved him there and I love him here, too. You may recognize LaGuerta as Gloria from Oz, and you may recognize Doakes as Moses from Oz.
I have not seen Six Feet Under, so Dexter Morgan is all I know of Michael C. Hall. And, yes, he is awesome. There's something nice about not having seen him in anything before, so all I could see was Dexter. Of course, he made it easy by, you know, totally being Dexter. I'm going to rewatch the first season before the next one starts.
Gonna miss you, Bushy Top. It's...like Trekkie twisted, how stoked I would be to have his coffee cup. Which I know is at least moderately unhealthy and something I would never have thought about anyone fifteen years ago, and now I'm a grown-ass woman and all, should be way past such things. And yet. Maybe it's that eyebrow thing. Yes. No. Maybe...
You may recognize LaGuerta as Gloria from Oz,
That's why she seemed so familiar!!!
and you may recognize Doakes as Moses from Oz.
Moses doesn't ring any bells, however. My Oz viewing was mostly as it originally aired, and I haven't rewatched more than a handful of episodes, so people who didn't last or get a major story line tend to get lost in favor subsequent seasons short timers (and honestly, without major re-watching, I tend to let shows fade to the background - what sticks is what sticks, and a lot doesn't).
Michael C. Hall on SFU was amazing, and one of the best reasons to check the series out. Even when I couldn't stomach just about any of the other characters, and even when his was being irredeemably obnoxious, he was fascinating to watch. Needless to say, a very different character (apart from carving up bodies, now that I think about it). I'm just grateful they didn't cast Matthew St. Patrick as Doakes (he would have been perfect, but it would be hella disturbing to see that vibe going down).

Hee.

Yeah, honestly, I didn't quite remember him either. I looked him up, and he was one of the many characters on Death Row. I believe I have vague memories. Ah, here's a short summary.

Sadly, I'm going out of town this weekend so I can't hook you up.
I don't need it. Not as much as I need to feel superior to the guy who turned his flat into the Starship Enterprise. David from Six Feet Under is really starting to grow on me. I mean, I still think he is...uptight, but I think we share a preoccupation with Doing The Right Thing that makes him relatable sometimes.
Finished Dexter season 1 tonight. Overall I enjoyed it, but the ending was a bit meh to me. Also I can't stand his sister. Ugh!
Aw, don't hate on Deb. She's got gumption.
