Punishingly Intricate

Evidently they were also recently looking for a guys with one hand to be an extra.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I just watched my first episode of John From Cincinnati, thanks to a free podcast download at iTunes. I dig it! It seems to be about ontology and quantum mechanics and perfection vs. imperfection in imperfect systems. I wish we had HBO again.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Was that the pilot, Corwood?

I think so. Episode 1, anyway.

OK, I just watched the first episode of Deadwood. Was the guy who told them about the massacre of the family played by Kurt Russell?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

OMG, that may have been the funniest Flight of the Conchords yet what with the racist dragon, and flipping the bird (and Germain STILL getting it wrong on actual deployment) and the motherfucker song and Murray getting a song and the abuse directed at the Australian embassy.

Granted, Drama's furry moment during Entourage was pretty fucking funny too.

And John from Cinc... has got me hooked. All in all, a good night of HBO.

I'm pretty sure not.

Always Anti-fascist!

The Wire: Rewatching Season Three and have come to the perfection of that scene between Bunk and Omar where Bunk talks to Omar about being from the same neighborhood as him, and how, time was, even gangsters would warn kids off the game. My point? I don't know...why has nobody acknowledged Wendell Pierce's mad acting talent?

Almost through with Season 1 of Deadwood.

The style and cadence of the language has reprogrammed my brain, to the point where I'm a little scared to open my mouth at work.

Also, I'm a bit stunned that this show was on the DigiPlayer on my DH's flight to the US.
