I'm a vision of hotliness, and how weird is that? Mystical comas. You know, if you can stand the horror of a higher power hijacking your mind and body so that it can give birth to itself, I really recommend 'em.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Yeah, the accent, the flashback, even some of the exposition all sorta sucked. The fact that every freakin' second of it is necessary for later plot points, well, that's awesome.

Always Anti-fascist!

That flashback was the one big note they've received from HBO.(/ The Wire likes gritty, urban carrots) And yes, I love how the Wire always uses stuff again. It makes it hard to introduce to non-fiends, however.I used to think DW was Australian because that's what overlaying Baltimore on top of London kind of sounded like, here in Arizona, land of the uniflected. He's pretty decent, now. Although not in the "No way...he's British?!" league with Hugh Laurie and Idris Elba.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I just caught the most recent FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS and the "Bowie in Space" stuff just had me on the floor (especially the Let's Dance style stuff over the end credits).

I saw the first one on a podcast, and it had me on the floor laughing. It's like Tenacious D, but waaaay funnier.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

"Bowie in Space"

Oh I love that song! Damn my non-HBO-getting ways!

(That song is on their live album, btw.) t /FotC evangelist

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Oh I love that song! Damn my non-HBO-getting ways!

The video itself was a little bit literal but Jemaine's Bowie impression in the episode was spot-on.

Yes! I loved the "different eras of Bowie".

It's like Tenacious D, but waaaay funnier.

That's exactly how I feel. And I like the music WAAAAAY better.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am loving Flight of the Conchords. It's really impressive how perfectly they can mock so many different styles of music.

Live album you say?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Entourage: man, it sucks, that E is subsuming his own abilities for Vince. He's so used to it, though, that it seems natural to him. Fucking Walsh.

I kind of think E is right about Walsh and they'll get rid of him before the movie is made. Though it's kind of fun having the arch nemesis vibe. I'm curious about why E did come out west if it wasn't to produce.
