That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Doctor Who 3x02: I think my favorite scene was Martha pounding on the Doctor to restart his heart -- I like when the show uses Tennant's manic energy & physicality to reinforce the Doctor's alienness. I liked this ep a lot. A little too OTT in places, but otherwise very fun. Was this written by the same guy who wrote the Season 1 episode about Charles Dickens?

Doctor Who 3.02: William Shakespeare needs to call me. Stat.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Expeliamus (or however it's spelled) cracked me up. As did fifty-seven academics punching the air .

Fun ep.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Was this written by the same guy who wrote the Season 1 episode about Charles Dickens?

Ha, I was reminded of that ep too. But it's not the same author.

I was thinking, earlier today, that given that Shakespeare writes Hamlet after this romp, "There are more things in heav'n and earth than are dream't of in your philosophy" takes on added meaning.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Am I the only one who watched Dresden?

::plaintive::

Art Crawl!!!

Dresden Files:

That was excellent!

I love the idea that Ancient Mai is a dragon. (I don't recall if that's in the books.)

All is well that ends in pizza.

Am I the only one who watched Dresden?

For now, at least. We have to wait for *ahem*

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I did!

And yet, I have no particular comment.

Great episode! And we don't KNOW she's a dragon. It's implied. Or inferred. Somebody on the Butcher Board suggested it a while back, too.

Art Crawl!!!

Dresden Files:

Ah. Excellent.

I have to say that the dragons in "The Gift" were better than the one in this episode.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I was busy eating my body weight in steak and then trying to walk it off, so I'll have to catch the 11pm CST showing.
