If the Tardis was worth the police box from which it was built, we would have had those references from the First Doctor.
Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I loved Who 3.02. I was cackling with delight throughout the whole thing, and just about lost it at "Fifty-seven academics just punched the air."
As for the actor who played Shakespeare, I thought he was fabulous. Does anyone know what else he's been in?
Er... I assume this means that the new episode is available now out there in the electronic aether?
Yes. Ahemming is possible.
Even as I type this, I could be gaining access to the file via semi-grey-area-legal-means. In a gratifyingly quick manner....
As for Who 3.02, I am still chuckling at the Doctor telling head-full-of-hair Shakespeare not to rub his head too hard lest he go bald.
Also, I wanted Kenneth Branaugh to play the Bard up till that moment. Furthermore I called Martha turning up as Shakespeare's Dark Lady.
The other thing that had me chuckling was the Doctor telling Shakespeare that no, he couldn't nick the Dylan Thomas quote (which does sound vaguely Shakespearian, actually). It was little things like that, and the indignant "That's one of mine!" that kept that particular running gag from getting too stale.
Haven't seen Who 3.02 yet, but yay for high speed cable at the parents house. It won't be long now. I'll at least have it, being able to sneak off to watch might be another matter.
Does anyone know what else he's been in?
No, but Lilith was played by the chick from Hex (it was driving me crazy until I IMDBed her).
Very cute episode.
Does anyone know what else he's been in?
Dean Lennox Kelly. He's mainly done TV work so far, most notably "Shameless", and not so many movies.
I haven't watched the episode yet but I'm about to head upstairs and do so right now.
