I couldn't believe it the first twenty times you told us, but it's starting to sink in now.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

My god, Blade is graphic.

Can't be worse than the Blade parody from the Venture Brothers last night.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Didn't see it, so I can't compare, but it was CSI-level ick, with added aliveness. He ripped a guy's jaw off, and not only did we get to see the jawless wonder, but we also got a closeup of the jaw, along with flopping floppy bits.

Startled me, for basic cable. Last week's sex scene with Krista licking Marcus's wounds also startled me.

I may be getting old.

Ew. You win.

On the Venture Brothers, he ripped the fangs out of the vampire's mouth by hand, although not on camera.

Still, it's similar enough that it's kind of a weird coincidence.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

A couple of weeks before that Jessica Gower had a nude scene that I would have expected from an HBO or Showtime series. If only they'd gone equal opportunity while Kavan Smith was right there...

Hmm. The vampire whose jaw got ripped off had been plucking teeth from nubile chicks and attaching them to his mask--also off camera.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Tom, if I read the Venture Bros. white font, will it make me need a whole bottle of vodka in order to watch? Or just feel like I've powerslammed one after I have watched?

OK, the Blade stuff is just gross. Ew, ew, ew.

You've more or less summed up all of Season 2.

I think that would require vastly more similes and metaphors revolving around halucinogenic drugs.

Oh! Daniel and I saw a blond mannequin head in a store on Saturday. The place had it on some sort of turn-table arrangement on the counter, and By Gum! it did look like Colin. There were also many electronic components, various electic motors, dentist chairs, marbles and baby doll limbs for sale there.
