A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

SA: (Spoilers for Blood Rites) Very briefly, he was disowned by House Raith (his vampire family) after the events of the book, so Harry gave him a place to stay, having learned during the course of events that Thomas was his brother.

Many fangirls are bemoaning the end of Life on Mars. Long live Life on Mars!

::bemoans, bemoans:: Well, except I'm not sure that "watches it" qualifies me for fangirl status. Still. Am sad.

Argh, I'm a doof. Blood Rites is book 6. Book 5 is Death Masks. But all white-fonted stuff above does apply to Blood Rites. It just doesn't apply to book 5 because, you know, different.

OK, I've drunk the Kool-ade and checked Dead Beat out of my local library.

Cool, Matt. That's book 7 and one of my favorites. See previous regarding spoileriness. Though the only major spoilers are for book 6.

ETA: I'm doubly a doof because I apparently can't close html tags properly.

Thanks. Spoilers won't bother me... I tend to avoid them energetically when I'm really crazed about a show, as with Joss' various efforts. But The Dresden Files is fun popcorn entertainment for me, so I won't mind reading out of order or finding things out in advance.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

So I had an SPN dream this morning. (Sadly, it wasn't what you might think.) My friend J, who works at my company, and I were having a meeting with the head honcho. We were presenting some kind of psychological project, but our rundown sheets looked like a questionnaire from an SPN-related LJ. Had the header and everything. J gets to a question that's related to Dean and completely inappropriate for whatever it was we were trying to do, and I start floundering over myself trying to connect this ridiculous questionnaire and an actual project.

Maybe it's time to take a break from the internets? Or just embrace the insanity?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Me too. I've read all the whitefont and gleefully spoiled myself for about everything, and it's still fun.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

The second, Ailleann. Embrace, embrace!

Kinda my thinking! I just wish the ol' subconscious could offer up something a little more... satisfying than an old dude from work, who looks suspiciously like Mr. Waternoose from Monsters Inc.

Vaguely on topic, are we watching and posting tonight? (I wonder if we could wrap up the thread....)
