No, "Storm Front" is the one that was supposed to be the two-hour pilot.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I am SA re: Doctor Who, and especially re: Nine's chemistry with Rose vs. the more sibling-like vibe I got from her and Ten. I agree that Ten and Martha seem to have similar chemistry to Nine and Rose, which is *fantastic*. I am really looking forward to seeing how this relationship gets played. I could also be very happy with WindSparrow's interpretation of Ten as a big ol' flirt, and -- OMG -- I cannot *wait* to see him with Captain Jack!! Man, I just love this show so freaking much.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Yes, because the "power" that he used was Harry's life-force.

bah. PB and TDF's makeup department need to take some tips from Cferg and Eureka on how to look half-dead.

Also, I am now awaiting the slashers to screencap Harry and Bob.

DVD's! Wheeeee!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

On board with the general Dr. Who squee-age! Yay, show!

One question: Have we seen or heard of Mr. Saxon (referenced in 3.1 on the radio and in a poster- "Vote Saxon" - behind Martha when she's outside the TARDIS) before?

Just trying to get a jump on this season's Bad Wolf and Torchwood

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

ION, I had a dream that CFerg was coming to town, and I tried to get tickets to an Indians game for him - but my mother talked me out of that. Instead I ended up going to a Special Olympics tee-ball game with her and my older brother, where she proceded to not leave room on the bleachers for me, then get mad that I went and sat on the other side of my brother to get away from her. And then I couldn't even see the game. Hmm, I wonder if this was really more about P-C than about me or CFerg.

Hee!

I really liked the DW premiere for reasons others have already stated in whitefont.

Nora - Mr. Saxon was mentioned by name in "The Runaway Bride," his name appeared in an article headline in the newspaper that the Absorbaloff was reading in "Love & Monsters," and Vote Saxon posters appeared in the Torchwood episode "Captain Jack Harkness."

Thanks, Invisible Green! I think I need to do some rewatching of stuff. Also need to see Torchwood.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Huh. Maybe the sluttiness is a residual effect of the post-Time War trauma.

I think maybe Captain Jack rubbed off on him a bit. Er, maybe I should rephrase that?

In TDF, I'm wondering if Bob died of the same mysterious and inexplicable cause that killed NatashaKate Beckinsale in Van Helsing. They didn't make it clear if it was the effort of resurrecting and killing Justin, the spell that brought him back dissipating once Justin was gone, or something that was going to happen regardless.

The Carnivàle-esque take-life-to-give-life thing certainly helps explain what was so awful about Bob finding a way to raise his beloved from the dead that he was imprisoned for all eternity. Didn't he say that he restored life to her more than once?
