Right, what's a little sweater sniffing between sworn enemies?

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

As juliebird said, Mister is Harry's 30 pound tom cat. (Though in the books he's grey and bob-tailed.)

The Blue Beetle is Harry's battered VW bug car from the books, which due to Harry's assorted misadventures is no longer really blue, but the name stuck. In the show, it was replaced by the Jeep because filming in a bug, particularly with a 6'4" actor, is a PITA. So the pilot featured a shot of the Beetle in the shop as a nod to the fans.

I agree, all the book shoutouts felt random and out of place coming this late into the run, especially since they're inconsistent with what we've otherwise seen. If they weren't going to show this as the obvious pilot, they should have-I hate to say it-pulled a Fox and showed it at the end of the season as a "special movie event".

Okay, this is the week where Chicagoistas aren't getting Supernatural until Saturday, right?

I'm trying to prepare myself.

Moi? No. I actually don't think I've seen any of them. No time.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Usually at this point in a BSG season (or half-season), the sag is gone and the writing is as tight as it could be, but I'm just not feeling it right now. They're writing Adama as erratic and uncharacteristic as this show ever has (and usually if they need a character to act outside their usual manner, it only lasts for an episode instead of three or four or however many it's been that Adama has been off), and the whole Dee thing was shoehorned in without any sort of preparation. I like Lee being the person to bring Roslin off her high horse in theory, but the execution was a little sloppy. Even next week's revelation (and this is unspoiled speculation) that Tory, Anders, and Tigh are Cylons and that Lee is all the sudden a smart hot-shot attorney (ok, the pinstripe suit was a funny touch) probably won't help this problem, but will only distract from it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

until this ep shows it's relevance within the series, I'm going to pretend that this Storm Front was an easter egg.

Yep. I'm pretending it was Harry's favorite bedtime fantasy, of how he'd like his life to be: the magic is easier and flashier, and he gets to kick Morgan's butt, and he gets a pretty blonde girl with Spunk(tm) to rescue and smooch, and Murphy gets rough with him and she really Believes, and Bob isn't poking at him, and his cases don't actually have to make any sense.

I bought the Rhythm and Blues CD. I've seen PB shirtless now. Hell, I've seen him naked with bunny ears on. Which I will never ever mention to him. Because I care. Truly.

I see PB and I think Peanut Butter.

Maybe it's too close to lunch.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Zenkitty, is there a link? I went and looked around, but lo, I am stoopid or something and cannot find anything like you're describing. Help a sister out?
