A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Umm, it's a sign that they killed off her character. (She was a regular, I believe.)
Well, I know that silly, but I'm trying to figure out how much they killed her off. She was a regular. But I never paid attention to the credits, before. Are all the regulars' names in the credits every week, even if they're not in a given episode?
Hey, did anyone watch "Blood Ties" last night?
I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. They made some changes from the book that I don't like. For instance
Henry is a graphic artist in the show. I liked that he wrote romance novels, it was a fun little quirk.
I also didn't like the characterization of Henry
his mysterious vampire powers made him seem manipulative. And I preferred the blood scene in the book, where Vicki figured out what he needed, and chose to give it to him, rather than having him in her arms, gasping "I need blood", not giving her the chance to make a conscious choice.
Other than that I pretty much liked it. I'm not sure about the new/refurbished
Colleen
though. I'll keep watching.
Regulars are the one's that appear in the credits before the beginning of act one. Recurring characters appear in the credits that run over the beginning of the first act.
At least on BSG. Other shows - that are doing away with opening title sequences run regulars, recurring and guests over the first act. (See Heroes and Supernatural.)
I taped
Blood Ties
due to it's unfortunate timeslot against DF and BSG.

yeah, it will go to its new timeslot at 10 next week, which I think is still against BSG
But, there are only two episodes of BSG left -- so it's not going to be in conflict for long.
Good, then it won't be sucking audience from TDF.
hugs TDF tight
Yeah, the bonus scene rocked it, and would have made that whole storyline so much more interesting.
Mostly I spent this episode being awkward about where I was expecting Starbuck to be. I really only feel her loss through the reactions, and that means, of course, Adama (O, Bill) and Sam.
I'm worried about Sam, though, because I don't really see where he'll fit into the storyline without Starbuck. Poor Sam.
I'm ignoring the whole major plotline (except for Badger! Yay, Badger!) because Baltar is driving me nutty. In an in-character way, I suppose, but still.
And anyway, I was still busy feeling yanked around by the show.

When Lee opens his law practice, Sam will be his paralegal! They'll fight crime! Or defend criminals. Whatever.
Oh, Sam could be Lee's hired gumshoe.
