Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Lampkin seems to speak in metaphor, or at least sound like he's quoting Scripture (BSG style, whatever their holy books say) -- I literally coudn't understand him most of the time. I serious think I'll have to watch again with the captioning turned on.

Other than that, I liked the episode.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

BSG: Loved the Badgerses, and gods, how I wish we'd seen angrydrunkenhurt Sam -- or anything that remotely hinted at the possibility of angrydrunkenhurt Sam -- before. Because damn, that was a character. Is. Let's hope. Whatev. (As for the Lee/Sam comfortfic possibilities, when my DH sees the slash, it's there. And let me say that I approve wholeheartedly.)

Bill keeps breaking me. (Lee keeps being broken. This is a much less interesting phenomenon.)

I have no idea how this will get wrapped up in the next few eps.

DF: Someone needs to learn about show-don't-tell. Every ep I've seen, I keep thinking that surely they must be showing them out of order and this is really meant to be the first one - and then I remember that they over-explained the same point last week or the week before. And yet, I love it. And whenever Bob's on the screen, I love it hopelessly with little pink hearts drawn over all the "i's".

Art Crawl!!!

Two more episodes. . . just two.

How can that be right?

Two and then a 10 month wait.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Bill keeps breaking me. (Lee keeps being broken. This is a much less interesting phenomenon.)

Ha - yes. Adama flipping through Kara's file, with all the disciplinary notices? Ouch.

Lee's relationship with Sam is far more interesting than his relationships with either of the two women in his life.

I'm not sure about Lampkin as a character yet -- he's just such an assortment of quirks, you know? -- but as a means to get both Baltar and Six back into regular rotation, I'll take him.

Art Crawl!!!

Damn, that bonus scene is DEFINITELY worth watching.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And yet, I love it. And whenever Bob's on the screen, I love it hopelessly with little pink hearts drawn over all the "i's".

Yes, this. So very this.

Our wings are not tired.

Damn, that bonus scene is DEFINITELY worth watching.

Nice. I hate that I am 2 eps behind. Must catch up.

The bounus scenes for BSG sometimes seem like they would make a better episode than what ends up in the show (I would not have minded watching a Helo episode about how he confesses to stopping the Cylon virus, for example). I get that these are not the primary plot points, but the level of drama and tension great in most of these.

Jamie Bamber's portrayal of Apollo does seem limited when you compare him to EJO's Adama, but if the writers would give him something besides explain his secret "depth"- be broken in every possible situation.

If Kara's "Destiny" was to give us "Dark Apollo, saviour of Gaius Baltar" I think I may be a little snarky.

Art Crawl!!!

Doesn't the name "Romo Lampkin" remind you of Rumpelstilskin? Or was that just me?

What is even happening?

Right there with you, sumi.

I usally adore this thread, because there's always some discussion. Today was the first time I felt off kilter when reading probably because I haven't watched Dresden yet and don't watch SPN.

Now, I noticed Katee wasn't in the credits. The thing is, I've never paid attention to the credits, before. Is that typical, when an actor isn't in an episode?

I loved Anders, but I always do. I still love all of them, so I don't even notice stuff like Bamber's range in the presence of EJO.
