'The Killer In Me'

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Not that I advocate torture, even for murderous psychopaths, but seriously, he tortured him with a TUNING FORK. Mohinder is fucking hardcore, y'all.

Ha, that was so fucking awesome.

What does the comic show? I'm too lazy to go look myself.

It says that Bennet actually got Hana's help for his plan to send Claire away.

That made me like Mohinder more than anything else he's done, I think.

Yeah, Mohinder was pretty badass this episode. Never would have expected that!

What does the comic show?

I'll whitefont, because it's not technically broadcast, though I think it's canon: In between leaving the destroyed house and getting to the bridge to get shot, Mr. Bennett brought Hana (Wireless) in to do some unnamed thing to help Claire.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Guess that answered that.

-t, I think whitefont is appropriate given that I felt mildly spoiled when Hana first showed up and nearly all of her scenes were things I'd seen/learned in the comics already. So because of that, I do imagine what's in the comic this week is canon, and I'm waiting for them to divulge that information in an episode.

Although many of the early comics were never talked about on the show.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Huh. I'm sorry they didn't have time to show it. (re. the comic) -- it's a dropped storyline I've been wondering about.

Ha, that was so fucking awesome.

I was actually talking kinda ironically. Heh. Like, he didn't have some Metallica in his music collection on the laptop? There had gotta be something wee bit more painful to Sylar's ear than a tuning fork.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Hiro\'s experience with Charlie seems to imply that the explosion is going to happen no matter what, since Hiro has seen it.

The thing with Charlie happened in the past. I could see the show\'s physics claiming that you can\'t change the past, but the future is still mutable.

Art Crawl!!!

You think that Mohinder's dad was a metalhead? Or are you just lobbying for a SPN/Heroes X-over? (too)

I have stumbled across only a couple of the comic Easter Eggs and really -- they haven't been at all informative. Perhaps I've found the wrong ones.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Maybe what Hana did was to get Claire her passport and fake ID. Real fast.

Heh. Well, okay. I was referring to the fact that he thought to aggravate Mohinder's superhearing at all. And a tuning fork, to a normal person, would not do much, whereas blaring Metallica makes everyone scream.

Actually, I think the tuning fork would do more damage than Metallica because wouldn't it cause his eardrums to vibrate?

That would be a reasonable explanation. And future!Hiro went back in time to see Peter because he had to, in his "present" that was the past and he had to make sure it didn't change. Maybe. Time travel makes my head hurt. In a good way.

Then Hiro would have a present that is privileged over other timeframes. Like in Bill&Ted, until the end.

Good to know, sumi, thanks.
