Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

They seem a bit above servants and soldiers. I know that Marcus is bucking against a ceiling of sorts, which makes me wonder. I'm assuming all the houses are pureblood houses with turned people affiliated. And the affiliation doesn't seem purely by who turned you, since Blade's childer (oh, it tickles to type that) applied to be affiliated with the house Marcus belongs to (Cthon, or something?).

Well, I'm sure some can get "promoted", like Marcus, but they still apparently have to jump when a pureblood says so.

But yeah, I'm thinking you are automatically a part of whatever house turned you, but you can apply for membership in other Houses. (Such as Boone with Armia(sp) and Chase's husband with the hippy bloodbath house.) Blade's spawn didn't belong to any house by default, because he wasn't considered a true vampire and was turned indirectly via his mother. Plus, once he started killing vamps, none of the Houses wanted any association with his "kids".

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Vonnie, you are not allowed to spend your time in Florence watching BSG. Besides, by the time it airs in the U.S., you will be asleep.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

But! I could have it downloaded in Florence *then* we could all watch it at the villa! While getting drunk on fine Italian wine! I'll also be missing TWO new episodes of The Office and a new VM, but those could wait. Maybe.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Handy little device Henry has there, a mini-telescope that can filter out the blue sky so he can not only look at the moon in the middle of the day, but also see the stars in the background.

Rewatching, I appreciated the touch of a member of the crew using a slide rule down in Fargo's office (even if the context in which it was being used didn't make much sense). Still, the crew aren't so old (even if they're in their nineties) that they wouldn't have swapped their slide rules for calculators (probably HP-35s) before they retired.

That's a little geeky. Now, if you had downloaded it using BitTorrent...

Art Crawl!!!

The weird eyes they've given Morena Baccarin's character are freaky and look really really uncomfortable.
