I haven't seen anyone mention the fact that when Hiro and Ando teleported to the future they were on the now infamous roof. what's the significance to that roof?!?

I wonder what significance the little x on some of the window panes behind them in that scene.

I thought that Isaac had painted a picture of himself.

Also, in that roof top scene, was I imagining it or were there cars going by in the streets off in the distance? Or something moving on the roads, at any rate?

I'm going to get cranky if they don't start having consequences for nuke!powers explosions and the resulting radiation, since that was a plot point with Ted's wife and all. First everyone at the Bennett's and now Hiro and Ando.

Anyone have a baaaad feeling that part of what makes future!Hiro so grim is that he's going to lose Ando in a particularly nasty way?

Those two statements weren't meant to be connected, but now I can certainly see that as a possibility for an Ando demise.

Here's hoping they find a hero with healing-of-others powers.

There were cars going by, and some of the buildings were being reconstructed. It was supposed to be a while after the nuclear event.

Also, depending on the type of radiation that gets emitted in the reaction, there might not be much nuclear fallout, and not much lingering radiation left behind. It's very handwavable.

But it was Malcolm freakin' McDowell! He's been in *everything*, including one of the earlier genre films (and one of the best, IMO), "Time After Time."

Yeha, but most people remember him as "that guy", not Malcolm McDowell. He's amazing, and I like the character, but the way they talked about it, you expected it to be Burt Reynolds or something. Hell, the Stan Lee cameo was more exciting.

I'm with Scola on the handwavability of the fallout. It may be because of Ted's particular power that it's not "regular" radiation. Also the same reason why they didn't have to evacuate and decontaminate HRG's neighborhood.

Don't know who was in the painting. I thought it was of Mohinder's apartment, based mostly on the gun. I think that it might be Mohinder on the ceiling because of the weird angle.

This is me. Otherwise, it's either let yourself get driven crazy, or change the name to "Cancer!" Which would be kinda depressing.

Maybe Ted's learned to suppress the really bad radiation and mostly emit IR, which would do sufficient damage?
