I was really disappointed in the Linderman reveal.
But it was Malcolm freakin' McDowell! He's been in *everything*, including one of the earlier genre films (and one of the best, IMO), "Time After Time."
I mean, Linderman in this one was a bit too talky-meat -- I always prefer my villains to speak with his actions than words -- but I still expect good things from McDowell in the future.
Also, gah, Mohinder on the ceiling! Don't die! Or catch on fire!
I totally went there too.
Me three.
Okay, did anyone else expect Mohinder to burst into flame? (And wouldn't a Petrelli bros/Winchester bros cross-over be fun?)
I definitely had a moment of "omg! Sylar is the Yellow-Eyed Demon!" Oh, shows. See above, re: protective older brothers and the floppy-haired emo superpowered younger brothers who love them.
Yup. Me forty-seven.
Also? Smonster!
I'm...oddly numb about Kara. I don't know what I think, but apparently whatever it is hasn't gotten through to the feely part of my brain.
But in other news, DH mainlined the last four eps of Dresden Files this evening. The man who hates serial tv *likes* DF. I'm a bit gobsmacked.
April 23rd? April 23rd?
Gah.
Eta: watching the BSG where Kara DIES and the Heroes where Peter gets his hair cut off and Mohinder gets pinned to the ceiling (y'all are right, the blood dripping on Peter was a very SPN moment) is not a good way to relax and unwind and be ready to go to sleep.
Hey, I have a question. Could anyone tell who Isaac painted?
I gotta say, I was really disappointed in the Linderman reveal. I expected it to be like Sulu, where I would recognize and love the character or the actor or something. It was very anticlimactic.
In additon to what Vonnie said, McDowell was in the original release of
A Clockwork Orange.
It's actually very cool that he's Linderman, except for the part where you don't recognize him. I mean it's cool to those of us who do. Oh gah, I hate being half decaffeinated.
That episode was fantastic. April 23 seems so darned far away. I think Nathan chose well, but after learning he was trying to be somewhat just in the first place, it was a little disappointing to see him choose as he did -- or at least, it was a little disappointing to see him choose as he did only after Linderman mentioned the White House.
Now why the heck didn't Nikki tell Nathan about Jessica? I mean, she all but did tell him, and sounded like a loon, anyhow, so she might as well have gone for broke. I guess she doesn't realize he's a super.
Oh Peter, you have the ability to heal. I hope you can remember that and channel it, because your forelock thudded to the floor and forelocks don't thud.
ANDO! Thank goodness you didn't listen to Hiro. You're the Samwise to his Frodo, or something. Hiro, you have to work faster. I mean, I know you can stop time and teleport, but sometimes your powers fail you, so please don't dawdle so much, in the future.
Poor Mohinder! He may not be as dumb as a bag of rocks, but he has a lot to learn, and I'm not so sure he's going to have the time to learn it. I hope he does, because he consistently brings the pretty and the soothing voice.

My love of Mama Petrelli is threatening my love for Mama Bennet. I've sort of had thing for Mama Petrelli since she got picked up for shoplifting socks, anyhow, but then I forgot about it when she wasn't doing much other than being weird with her boys.
I do not like shape shifting illusionist girl. She can die any time, now. Besides being such a company gal and messing with the Bennets, she was so mean to Isaac, for no particular reason.
I wonder if they're both her sons for real, or if she was given one (or both) to foster, long ago and far away (sorry, apparently my inner Peter/Claire 'shipper has been more silent than dead).

The episode left me numb (in part because I fell asleep but managed to realize in my sleep that she was dead before I saw the death), but the fact of her death breaks my heart. Then I feel jerked around by reading the meta. Then I want to know for sure. Then I feel a little numb, again. Then I think I'm just going to exile myself to smonster's LJ, and refuse to come out until they bring back Starbuck.

Excellent! More Paul Blackthorne for you.
I haven't seen anyone mention the fact that when Hiro and Ando teleported to the future they were on the now infamous roof. what's the significance to that roof?!?
haven't seen BSG yet and have been scrolling with my fingers over my eyes. good example of why seperate threads for these shows is a good thing for me.

Temporal mechanics is haaard!
Masi Oka was on Carson Daly the other night and spoiled the audience for the fact that he'd get the sword last night, which was weird (even Carson was taken aback that he'd actually gotten a spoiler out of the guy). More strange was that they showed a clip that seems to have been cut from last night's episode (although it wasn't identified as such). It's the scene in the casino where Hiro tells Nathan that he's sent Ando home. There's this whole bit where Hiro tries to tell Nathan he's a "lone wolf" but his accent makes the comment indecipherable, and there's a cute back-and-forth between the two as Hiro tries to explain by howling.

At first I thought it might be Issac as Hiro saw him (i.e. dead with his cranium removed), but it could also be Peter as Sylar tries to de-brain him ("tries" as in I think he's going to get frustrated very soon - I can totally see Peter healing it as Sylar cuts it, and Sylar can't actually get to his brain, causing a hissy fit). Mohinder's probably right though.

DVD extras hopefully.

I just mean his regular moving around. He's taking too much time hugging, and getting his arse up the stairs, etc. Now sure, he's pretty sure he's going to get his powers, once he gets the sword, but there's no guarantee.
Oh, I think it might be Peter. I'll have to check again. I don't think it was Mohinder -- the face wasn't right, and wasn't at the right angle.

Very certain it was himself -- the same scene Hiro stumbled into in the future.
