Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, I know I bitched about Chase's immortality on Blade. But having Krista turn her mother, and her mother go on a killing rampage? Pretty damned sweet.

However, I'm confused by this pureblood thing. It was really very creepy when they introduced the pureblood girl, having her carried in by that guy. Why is she so young-looking? Is she actually young? Arrested age only makes sense if she was turned at that age. I need a mechanism for reproduction. Surely it can't be as effortless as turning, but it seems without explanation to be reasonably easy to produce more, especially if you're immortal.

And, by immortal did they mean immune to the same things as the Daywalker?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Saucier, racier stories will be aired after the midnight hour, and in a change for the popular channel, may include R-rated material.

Sigh. In some ways it's a pity it's a hoax. This is probably the only way we'd get Torchwood over here in a timely manner.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

October 6th at 8 pm

But, but....I'll be on a plane that night! Oooh, they're so evil.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Wait, Jessica, are you saying you don't expect to get a screener 3 weeks in advance anyway?

How am I to get my spoilers, woman??

Well it's not like it's a guarantee...

I'll just have to make sure DH is properly sucking up to the publicist over the next couple months.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I love it for the crazy people who could all be Buffistas. Except maybe (continued...)

( continues...) Beverly.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

But, but....I'll be on a plane that night! Oooh, they're so evil.

Uhm... damn. I'm going to be in Florence that day. (Yes, do please feel sorry for me.) I THINK the hotel has DSL and I'm taking my laptop, but it would be the height of dorkdom to be holed up watching tv on the computer when I could be out doing the proper tourist stuff....

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ah, poor Vonnie. Stuck inside of Florence with the BSG blues again. And those diamond shoes will give you blisters for sure! ::plays sad little tune on tiny tiny violin::

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

However, I'm confused by this pureblood thing. It was really very creepy when they introduced the pureblood girl, having her carried in by that guy. Why is she so young-looking? Surely it can't be as effortless as turning, but it seems without explanation to be reasonably easy to produce more, especially if you're immortal.

My guess, since the movies had discussions of families, fathers, brothers, etc that purebloods reproduce just like humans do, so creepy pureblood girl is actually a young pureblood vampire, though who knows how their aging actually works. Given her behavior it's possible they physicially age very, very slowly but mentally age normally. I also think, since they bother turning people in the first place, that vampire pregnancy is probably extremely rare. If it takes hundreds of years (completely guessing) to create a fully-grown adult vampire, then it would make sense to turn mortals to use as servants, warriors, etc.

If I only had a brain...

Points for quality use of Dylan, there.
