"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Do we have anything that points to the fact that Claire was actually in the fiery building when it went up? Could someone have snitched her out of the building, allowing the mom to think she had been killed to function as a cover? They could know that biomom has powers and want to study Claire.

Would Eric Roberts have said "If she manifests we'll take her back" to Bennett if she had already been known by the Company to survive a fiery blaze? I figure if Claire was some kind of Company loyalty test for HRG, they would have called him on it already.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Would Eric Roberts have said "If she manifests we'll take her back" to Bennett if she had already been known by the Company to survive a fiery blaze?

I suspect that they found her in the ashes, and surmised that she might be special because she survived, but they weren't sure.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wasn't the Haitian named when he was introduced as a kid? I vaguely thought that.

eta: Having read the comic, baby!Clare was bald when handed to HRG. Just saying.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wasn't the Haitian named when he was introduced as a kid?

If he was I missed it. I thought they just called him "this mute kid" possibly "this mute kid from Haiti".

I am terribly curious what a child's drawing of pulling memories out of people's heads looks like, BTW.

I keep forgetting about the comic. I'd better go read the new one.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Wasn't the Haitian named when he was introduced as a kid?

I only remember hearing him mentioned as "the boy from Haiti."

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

"this mute kid from Haiti"

He sure plays a mean pinball.

Plays by sense of smell.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Clearly, we need to start referring to him as Tommy.
