A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I think they depend a great deal on the people doing the talking. Hugely meta or insightful people, one kind of commentary (e.g. "Objects in Space"); hilarious people teasing one another, a different kind (3/4 of the Farscape commentaries I have heard)
Okay, I'll admit that I loved the Family Guy commentaries. Which seemed to be about 90% "I can't believe we snuck this past the censors, and Seth Green, did you bring enough snacks for all of us?"

The group commentaries for ROBOT CHICKEN are hilarious because Seth is acting as a demented master of ceremonies (SMG pops in for several). Not quite as funny as the extras of him demonstrating for the animators how he wants the animation to look, but pretty close.
PS, I need to, err, pick your brain about local myths and ghost stories. I may have a casefile in my head. I may be Cemetary Sueing my street, in fact.
Oh reeeeaaaally? I may need to dig out a couple of books, but ask away.
I hardly ever watch commentary tracks. I really should.
In the middle of LoM ep 2, and I have just this to say:
There is no one more awesome than Gene Hunt. No one.

Local hauntings, mostly. I want to do something with Comet Lodge. (even if the local ghost hunting sites do talk about how dang happy the place is.)
My peeps underground there would be happy for the shout-out, you see. They love publicity.
Plei, have you seen this site? [link]
"Advanced Ghost Hunters of Seattle/Tacoma". I have no idea if it will be of any use, but I'm oddly charmed by the notion of it.

It's one of the sites that inspired the whole notion of an urban casefile where they run into urban hunters doing urban things and raising urban eyebrows at them from above latte cups.
Mostly, I'm just charmed by the notion of (and if you've not seen 2x02 yet, this will make NO sense, as you haven't seen the non-urban version) what an urban hunter hangout would be like. I'm thinking like Aurafice in a way.
HA. The people I complained about this morning apparently cross-posted their SPOILER-FULL announcement to every Stargate comm in existence. And then they got fandom_wanked. And now the comm is bahleeted.
