A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

I think that there aren't that many Easter Eggs.

Yeah, the first two Pern books are the best as are the first two Dragonsinger books (there are of course, a multitude of Pern and dragonsinger books.)

Are you talking SPN Easter Egg or DA? There's one on Disk 6 of SPN in the Special Features menu. When the "Day with J & J" is highlighted, the light comes on in the cabin in the background. If you navigate onto the light and press play, you get a special message from Eric Kripke.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Easter eggs--the only two I've found are both on Disc 6. When you go down the menu, the doorway to the shack from Hell House lights up. You click on that for a thank-you from Kripke. And as you go further down the menu, Dean's eyes light up. Click on that for another thing. I forget what it is, but I remember being underwhelmed.

Longer gag reels, people! More goofy outtakes! Kim Manners doing the soft shoe. Raelle and Seri in a loooong talk about writing. Robert Singer and Jim Beaver arm wrestling for title to the name. Something interesting.

Yeah more episode commentaries would be great. Getting two on the first disc and then no more was disappointing.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Gag reels are my alpha and omega. And not the "in-jokey juxtaposition" kind of gag reels, just outtakes of people screwing up their lines, missing cues, cracking up for no reason. I can watch that shit for hours and hours. The more serious the plot, the more hilarious it is watching the actors laugh so hard they cry.

Which is why the early XF gag reels are such a joy.

Also, Trek, TOS was great for that, especially Nimoy.

Art Crawl!!!

The CW has begun to put the Oliver Queen Chronicles up on their website. Damn, that animation is ugly.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

t non-SPN content

Why are the people on fannish communities so stupid, especially about what constitutes a spoiler? I swear, half of the reason -- thinks of Rodney -- 10% of the reason I downloaded the SGA episodes is because people cannot keep their freaking mouths shut.

t /non-SPN content

And the sga_noticeboard mods have deleted the post. I love them.

Art Crawl!!!

FYI: Jamie Bamber is guesting on "Ghost Whisperer" tonight.

Sigh.

I suppose I could bear to watch it for him. (Although, I'm going to have to catch his guest-spot on Cold Case on repeat -- as I didn't tape it.)
