Cindy, you made me snorfle.
I'm a little worried for Peter. All Powerful Hero seems like it would be hard to maintain while keeping things interesting. Hmmm.
'Touched'
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Quick SPN question: If a few of us did a rewatch and flail in this thread, starting Thursday at about 9:00, with Dead in the Water being the first ep up, would people be interested in joining us?
I don't know that I'd be able to watch in real time with you guys every week, Lee, but I'd for sure join in the flailing afterwards!
9 board time? I probably wouldn't be able to do that, but doing my own rewatch on Friday's and reading y'all's posts might be something I could get behind.
That was the plan, as long as it works for people.
Which season/ep is Dead in the Water? I ask because I just got the first disc of S1 from Netflix.
Another excellent episode of "Life on Mars" this week. Anyone else see it yet?
X-posted from Natter.
Holy crap. Watching the 6 am news, and they're doing a story on ... eh, something not very newsy. Anyhoo, the newcaster is in her office for some reason, and behind her on the wall is...

Andi thinks Peter may be becoming Superman, in essence.
I meant it in more of a metaphorical sense, using Supes for any standard comic book superhero with a wide range of powers like Superman or maybe Wolverine, but not like Batman, who has no special powers other than supremely trained body and mind plus an unlimited budget for useful gadgets. Also not like Jean Grey, who as I understand it has one special power with many applications. All the other Heroes have just the one - to carry out a complex mission they have to work together as we saw with Radioactive Guy, Net Woman, and Matt. As Peter gets his shit together, he will be a host unto himself, and be able to take on tasks which no other single Super will be able to manage.
It also occurrs to me, what if the painting showing him going all asplodey is not showing him going into an uncontrolled, harmful meltdown. What if it works out that he has to do that to control and localize something that would be even worse (or he thinks it is) without his intervention? Oh, yes, getting him all trained up to control himself is a good thing, but now maybe instead of being the bomb that destroys New York, maybe he's the Bomb Squad that protects the Hemisphere - he and New York are just collateral damage, acceptible losses.

...Happy Place... What?
Dead in the Water is ep 4, season 1, I think. Lemme check. Nope, ep. 3. I think we were planning on Phantom Traveler, which is 4, next week.
