He called himself 'Claude Raines' which I took to be a joke, and not a real name. Claude Raines starred in a version of The Invisible Man, and he was British.
True, but it doesn't mean it's not a "name" he's used in the past.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Dude. They did 2 different fight scenes that they didn't have to shoot. I love it when cost-cutting gets creative.
Peter is rapidly climbing to Hiro-like levels of awesome. And it don't think it's just CE rubbing off. I do hope Claude's not gone for good, though.
Yeah. I can totally live without Simone.
Peter is made of scary awesome.

might have just been a writers' joke, like the license plate on the car.
That episode was awesome. Except, even though Simone/anyone was a sucking hole of anti-chemistry, I'm a little disturbed by all the dead recurring female characters on the show so far -- Eden, Charlie and now Simone. (I guess Dale, who I LOVED, doesn't really count since we've had plenty of one-off characters be Sylarized.)
Peter was freakin' scary. I like it.
Is Claude's invisible power always on? I imagine Claude and Peter were invisible to Bennet and the Haitian when they located them, then the Haitian dampened Claude's invisible power so that Peter's flight were visible to their eyes. It's too bad there wasn't much chance for Peter and the Haitian to interact here, because I really want to know what happens when the Haitian tries to suppress Peter.
Is Claude's invisible power always on?
I don't think so. We saw him "wink out" before he left the apartment.

didn't they have night vision goggles?
I wonder if he's visible when he's asleep.
didn't they have night vision goggles?
They did. I figured they located them with the infrared goggles, THEN the Haitian blocked Claude's power so that they were visible. But then, maybe Peter and Claude were "visible" only to us audience and Bennet and the Haitian were still seeing them as glowy blobs.
OK, I just rewatched the scene, and Bennet definitely watches Peter soar with Claude *without* his goggles.
ETA: d'oh! Of course Claude was unconscious by that time so of course they could see them. Nevermind.
Apparently, the Haitian or Mr. Bennett (whichever does the blocking) can only block one power at a time.
If it's Mr. Bennett - then the Trio are going to be in for a little surprise next week, no?
Is Claude's invisible power always on?
I don't think so. After Peter flies them away and they argue, Claude says Bennet and Co. is why he stays invisible all the time. Which says to me he can turn it off if he wants. (Plus, I'm not sure how someone with an "always-on" power would be able to train other supers to control their powers.)
